Hawke Ridge Business Park plays host to Bike Bath 2017Monday 3rd July 2017
Hawke Ridge Business Park, near Westbury, had hundreds of visitors at the weekend as the site played host to Bike Bath.
The annual cycling event, which starts and finishes at the Rec in Bath, encourages people of all ages and abilities to get in the saddle and take on a 25, 50 or 80 mile cycling challenge.
This year the 35-acre business park featured on the 50 and 80 mile cycling routes as a welcome food and drink stop.
Cyclists got to enjoy the beautiful Wiltshire countryside traveling through Great Chalfont, Steeple Ashton, and the picturesque Keevil before arriving at Hawke Ridge as part of the 50-mile route. The journey back to Bath allowed cyclists to take in Rode, Farleigh Hungerford and Limpley Stoke.
Bike Bath also raises money for Wiltshire-based Dorothy House Hospice.
HPH Ltd, the company behind Hawke Ridge Business Park, have sponsored Bike Bath for a number of years.
Managing Director of HPH Ltd, Lindsay Holdoway said, “We were delighted to once again give our support to such a fantastic event, which not only encourages an active lifestyle but raises awareness and money for such a good cause.
“This year we were also happy to be able to host a much needed food and drink station at our Hawke Ridge Business Park, given the site’s proximity to Bath it was an ideal location for cyclists to take a break before continuing their ride. We would like to congratulate everyone who took part in the cycling challenges.”
